Hey, I can understand how hard it must have been for you. Stay strong and positive. I think you should go. It will help with the next step you take. IVF is an unpredictable process and therefore, things like these do happen. However, for the success of the process, the clinic really matters. If the clinic is operating at a success rate there are more chances of success. All my prayers are with you.
I'm so sorry for what you are going through. It's so tough, take it one day at a time. Sending you lots of hugs, it might feel hard to believe right now but you will get through this.
As for the appointment, I would still go, even if it feels pointless, and even though it will be hard. I'm no expert but maybe running some checks could give clues as to what happened for you this cycle? It's an opportunity for you both to ask questions and to get some guidance on your next steps (even if that is to try a different clinic).
Hi maho2016 I am going through something similar except we can not go to the transfer stage as we have fertilization issues 2 recent failed IVF, next step is ICSI we are trying to turn every stone before we decide to take another path. Stay strong and believe will happen. Sometimes, I think we self sabotage yourselfs with subconscious worries and thoughts of what if it does not work. I am trying to think positive and eliminate the doubts as much as l can. Stay strong and may god be with you xx
So so sorry....it is just devastating. Hard tho it is, go to the appointment and have the blood test. Your medical team will be there and can help give support x
Hi maho. Just back from annual leave, so only just read your posts. So sorry this hasn’t worked for you this time and I do hope you’ve got plenty of support around you just now. Once you’ve got your head round all this, I do have a couple of lists of questions I can send you to look through if you want. You would have to email me in confidence to support@fertilitynetworkuk.org
I am so sorry for what you are going through. It's very hard. IVF is a painful thing. But it's quite successful too hon! Just distract your mind from it. Don't think about it much. After all this pain you will be holding a beautiful baby in your hands. And trust me, it's worth it. Good Luck!
