Hello ladies, I'm experiencing what feels like ovary pain. No major cramps or anything, just a dull ache around both ovaries and a little lower back ache. Is this normal at this early stage (almost 5 weeks). Everything is worrying me and making me panic!

Are you taking progesterone? This can cause it. Or overstimulated ovaries fingers crossed it settles for you xx
Yes aches and pains across the lower abdomen are pretty common in early pregnancy. I've certainly had my fair share over the past few weeks! It is your little embie bedding in, your uterus expanding and changing shape (to more of an egg shape apparently) and the lining getting even thicker. Could also be ligaments but probably a little too early for that.
You can take paracetamol if it gets a bit much, and I find that a warm bath helps! I also find that mine is worse after I've exerted myself and that sitting up straight instead of lying down helps too. Xx
Thanks for your replies ladies, I feel reassured to know it's normal!
I’ve also been concerned about these pains, im experiencing the same thing, positive test and lower abdo right sided pains. It helps that I’m not the only one! The pain appears to be worse in the morning and sometimes wakes me up, so I take a couple of codeine, but it doesn’t really touch it. Here’s hoping that these pains settle down for us soon xx
