In the 2ww

I’m 3 days past embryo transfer and for the last couple days I’ve been feeling a dull ache almost like a period ache. Not painful or anything but I can feel a heaviness. Has anyone else experienced this? This waiting is already driving me insane!!!xx

I had quite a lot of period type pains and was sure AF would arrive. The tww is absolute torture and it’s hard not to analyse every twinge, try and keep busy if you can it helps pass the time xx

Hi,

I am also in my tww otd is this Friday (14pt) I have had the same symptoms since transfer, I tested early yesterday and had a faint positive. A lot of people have said to me not to read anything into your symptoms and they are so right as I was so sure AF was going to show on day 9, to go on to day 10 and 11pt and get a positives. I hope you get your bfp x

Yes there definitely is hope. Thank you. Yes I would have injections any day (and I'm awful with needles even had to go to my doctor and get him to do it as my partner forgot and I was to scared haha). I don't think the worrying will ever stop lol xx

I'm nearing the end of my tww now, OTD is Thursday. I had similar aches at the beginning but they are long gone now. My one piece of advice is to not test early- I did and I regret it so much as it doesn't confirm anything and we still need to test again-you just torture yourself even more. The very best of luck, I can't wait to hear you got a BFP! x

I'm 8dp5dt and have had dull period like pains since transfer but today they are a little stronger and I had a very small bleed this morning absolutely terrified that it's all over and desperate to test early but holding off to otd which is Friday. Good luck with your 2WW xxx

Urrghhhh its so hard not to analyse every twinge in the 2ww, not to mention all the symptoms that we feel should be there and arent! Hang on in there and try to keep busy if you can without doing anything strenuous!xx

Total mine field! I've had so many different symptoms on different cycles. It's hard to gauge, progesterone is a cruel trick send to drive us mad !! Best of luck x

Hello, I am also 3 days post transfer! (Sat 22nd?) and have similar period pains, like a stitch sometimes, my overies also still hurting from the egg collection which I found really painful so putting it down to that. only 3 days in and 2ww seem like a looooong way away! good luck to you x

Hey! yes sat 22nd! ah I see do you feel like its a heavy sensation which comes and goes so the feeling isn't always there? I also can't distinguish if its a bloating gassy feeling or a period feeling...god I should know my body by now! haha! I had a painful Egg Collection too and I can still feel my ovaries (mainly after I have gone for a wee which is weird!). yes, 2ww is forever! Good luck!!xx
