Hi guys, I’m now 6week3days pregnant from a frozen 5d embryo, I’m still taking my Utrogestan vaginal pessaries and Progynova I’m not bleeding but having a lot of aches in my lower back and near my ovaries is this normal? I’m really starting to worry as it seems stronger today.
Anyone else had this?

It is next Monday as I am in Cornwall on holiday this week. So only a week to wait and yes they are like period pains, I can’t believe how worrying it is I thought once I got past the first week of being pregnant I might calm down as I lost my last one due to a chemical in the first week but I feel worse now then ever xx
Aw sorry to hear about your chemical. I was on holiday the couple of weeks between my BFP and first scan and it I think it did help take my mind off things a little.
I’m afraid that worry never really went away properly for me but it did ease off a little as I got further through the pregnancy.
I’m 11dp5dt (two frozen) embryos. Took a test at the weekend and it was positive. I’ve also been experiencing period-type pains, constipation and a generally unsettled tummy. It is so worrying. Like you, I had a chemical pregnancy on our first IVF cycle (miscarried around 10 weeks), so that’s playing on my mind.
I'm 6wk3ds pregnant too. And I feel almost exactly same- physically and emotionally. My scan is on 6th, we've set off for a holiday today too to coast so I'm hoping that helps me not focus on every discomfort. I generally feel hungover all time- sick but not vomiting, tired, hungry and thirsty all time. Haven't had any cramping for about a week, but do get back aches, and a lot of digestive issues!
So I guess we are doing ok. But I'm still stressing. Living for that viability scan!
Totally- I haven't even told my sister's yet so I can't look to them for the reassurance I need. Plus doing ivf means you can't really compare it to a non medicated pregnancy. Really looking forward to getting to point can come off them all, so at least then we will know what we are feeling is real not all the drugs!
I’m 7 weeks 2 days and I have cramps some days not others, some days I feel totally normal and miss having cramps, when I have cramps I worry what’s wrong 🤣 keep on being positive!!!! My scan is Wednesday! I’m off to Cornwall in September ❤️
Hi, I had exactly the same meds and had very odd pains cramps and weird feelings all over the place (even pains in my shoulder). I also managed to put my back out completely at 6 weeks, just by getting my shower gel off the side of the bath while taking a shower. I took Progynova and Utrogestan until 12 weeks, i’m 13 now and the pains, odd cramps and weird feelings are subsiding. The hormones do very odd things to us so try not to worry too much. If you are having a viability scan (I had mine at 7 weeks) you will feel so much better after. 🤞 it will get easier. I totally agree that you have no idea what is ‘normal’ if you’ve never been pregnant before! Oh and look forward to the milestone of stopping the meds. I couldn’t wait for that day 🤣
Thank you I have my scan next Monday I’ll be 7w4ds 😊. I can’t wait to stop all the meds!! I bet that was a joyful day for you, I hate the pessaries especially xx
Yeah they were particularly yukky. Still forced me to but a whole load of new underwear and several industrial sized boxes of pantyliners, I’m saving the rest of those for the 3rd trimester now. Hope your scan goes well xx
I’ve had a lot of low level pain too. It can be normal. Raise with your medics though at our scan - always best to ask these things. X
