Hi everyone, so I had a positive pt but the stabbing right hand, what I think is ovary pain, is still about. Clinic said it was probably where my ovary is swollen, but seemed a bit vague on the phone. Obviously I’m excited, but do you think this pain is anything to worry about? I’m not sure I can let myself believe everything is okay!!

Stabbing pain
Congratulations on the positive test 👍I had lots of twinges & light cramps throughout the early weeks. I didn’t have IVF so can’t comment on the ovary part - perhaps other successful IVF candidates will. Some of the cramps I had was due to bloating & had trapped air which is isn’t very nice! And some was due to endometriosis scar tissue on both uterus ligaments which I think hurt as uterus grew. It is very scary & I couldn’t help worry the worst, we can’t help ourselves. I get the worrying. But twinges are completely normal & is where baby is growing & uterus is stretching, actually it shows baby is growing well. 👍I even had lots of spotting throughout & my baby is fine. I’m now 14 weeks! I don’t think you should worry which is easier said than done I know , just get lots of rest & drink plenty of fluids. And eats lots of foods high in fibre as it’s easy to get constipation in early pregnancy which is no fun🤦🏽♀️ we spend so long trying to get a BFP that when we do it’s hard to believe it’s actually happened!! But it has & is your time ❤️❤️❤️ xoxo
Thanks Jess1981, reassuring as ever. Ya know, one of the best things I did was signing up to this forum 😘

If you are really worried why not give your local epu a call? They are great for reassurance xx
