Ovary pain on ovulation day ???

I never get any discomfort on my ovulation day. But I have noticed 2 times, when ever we have a intercourse just a day before ovulation, I get a pain on my right side of my ovary. But those months all ended up with my periods.

So today is my ovulation, and had Intercourse last night and I can feel my right side ovary pain today. It didn't happen last month on my ovulation day as I was not home and away. Anyone got that experience?

Iv always suffered with ovulation pain after having my daughter it was particularly bad where I wouldn't be able to walk or sit it felt like my insides were being torn apart. Now I get a feeling of being sore and tender its most likely due to the blood been released before the egg some people get ovulation pain some don't. If it's particularly painfull though like mine used to be. I suggest you speak to your gp they did a dye test and found I had slow tubes. Xx

OK, having an appointment on Friday and will speak with my doctor. I just doubt why I am getting pain whenever we did baby dance previous night and absolutely fine when nothing happened... Thanks for that...

I get ovulation pain. Not always every month, I think it's mostly when I ovulate from the left and not the right. I've had it since my mid 20s.

Have you ruled out endometriosis? Problem with endo is you can get a varying number of symptoms from none to alot which doesn't help.

Sorry I have no idea what’s endometriosis, should I ask GP to check ?? So will it cause the pain on ovulation day if egg and sperm meets ?? Like I said I had no pain when no intercourse prior to ovulation but I get pain only when I have intercourse before ovulation day . This is my 2 nd time noticing that ..

Have a google on endometriosis. It wouldn’t necessarily be pain on ovulation with sex. But can be pain after sex and possibly a cyst or something could cause pain on the actual ovary.

Heavy periods can be another symptom.

GPs can be pretty useless when it comes to endo so might be worth you seeing if symptoms fit before.

I have severe endo but little to no symptoms.

I’ve started having it recently and it’s quite painful sometimes well that might be an exaggeration but it’s certainly very uncomfortable! I don’t know why though.

Yes it is. This time I had mild pain not intense but I can definitely say it’s quite uncomfortable.
