Hi Nat6. So sorry to hear that you are feeling so poorly, and anxious. Well, I think that having the colposcopy is the best way forward, to deal with the abnormal cells. Perhaps a scan could be arranged beforehand, to put your mind at ease about your ovary. Hopefully, it is just a simple cyst that could need draining. I would concentrate on these two issues first, then when you are them, you should be able to receive treatment for the NK cells. Hope all is soon sorted out. Thinking of you. Diane
Thanks so much Diane. It really does get me down, I'm totally fed up with it & just feel like my body hasn't responded well to fertility treatment drugs.
Any way like u said colposcopy first which is finally next week & go from there.
Xx

Hi Nat6. I shall be thinking of you. Do let me know how it all goes if you can. Diane
Hi Diane. I got half way through my colposcopy today & past out. The doctor did see abnormal cells but couldn't get as far as getting a biopsy so I need to go under general anaesthetic & they will treat it then as well. I'm now wondering if this pain is endometriosis or ovarian cancer. My symptoms point towards endometriosis more. I just want answers & everything feels so slow. I'm in constant discomfort now rather than every now and then. Feeling worn out.

Hi Nat6. Oh dear! So sorry to hear that you are suffering so much. I think it is certainly a good idea to have a general anaesthetic to sort this out, as you are totally relaxed and fully accessible - if you know what I mean!. Probably is the endometriosis, but an ovarian cyst can be a nightmare! I know that it's easy for me to say, but do try your best not to worry about it being cancer. You're nipping this in the bud early on, and hopefully by just removing the "nasty" cells, all will be resolved. Have a good rest when you can for now, and let's hope you don't have to wait too long to get sorted. Thinking of you BIG. Diane
