Well after a tearful start to the day as I was left in the hospital room on my own, thinking β the s#%t you have to go through to try and have one of the most natural things in lifeβ all has gone amazingly well!
Hardly any pain what so ever, not even any bad cramping, bit of light bleeding and thatβs it!
Went to the clinic after my G.A had worn off and was shocked to see my video. My whole lining was covered in what looked like floaty cotton wool. Was told this was caused by the infection I had and scar tissue. It has now all been removed and a cut out in to help with implantation. What made me feel sad was that they said it will have been this infection that caused the damage to my tubes. I so wish Iβd known about this procedure before Iβd had my tubes removed π’
That consultant reckons my issues will have been the infection and the fact I have sticky blood. She has advised that I should be on 40 ml of clexane not 20 as my clinic had advised. She said one shot only lasts 8hrs and if I was cycling under her it would be 40ml twice a day, so have got to ask my clinic if they will agree to this. She also wants me to start on baby aspirin too.
I have a 10 day course or antibiotics to start from tomorrow and a months supply of a supplement called βSerrapeptaseβ which helps with keeping the scar tissue at bay and reduce inflammation. She said the infection will also have naturally increased my NK cells which is what I had been thinking anyway as makes sense.
The procedure will last 6-8months so hoping to go on my next cycle. ππ»ππ
Then saw this little bracket whilst out this afternoon and just had to buy it as a good luck charm ππ

Glad to hear you have had a positive experience and something to move forward with. Really hoping you have good news in your next few cycles. Big hugs and well done for today x
Yes thanks. I just want everyone here to be pregnant or giving birth soon. We all feel the same I guess. Hopefully you will be soon. It sounds so promising xx
I love that bracelet, feels like a great symbol of clearly putting some difficult times behind you and focusing on the positives that are about to come, starting from today. Glad it went ok x
Ahhh so glad to hear it all went well! I had exactly the same on my DVD too....its a amazing to see it all being cut away....was told the same - must have had an infection at some point and also having aspirin prior to transfer and clexane. Hopefully this is the last thing that you've needed then to move forward. Try not to dwell on the past and look foward now....onwards and upwards! Ive heard good things about serraptase from another girl that I met on here, it did wonders for her. Loving the little bracelet that you've found, your lucky charm......yeyyyyyy!!π€π€π€xxx
The dvd is shocking in so many ways isnβt it! And then to see one with no issues I couldnβt believe the difference!
Loving Athens! Getting used to the metro after getting ripped off by one taxi driver yesterday who charged us 20euros to get to the hospital to only be charged 11 on the way back by another one! Got the hotel staff to confirm price this morning before we left! Haha!
2 days left to sight see as extended our stay π¬ just wish Iβd bought with me a few more jumpers! A little bit chilly here at the min! Xx
Yes its very weird to see....I'll give you a laugh my mum wanted to see what I was talking about so I took it along and put it on the tv....my dad was mortified saying "you cant put that on whilst Im here"....so old school....I was killing myself laughing, literally nothing to see but a fluffy white cavity!!
Glad you're having a nice time, I think we've been lucky with taxi's to be honest as havent been ripped off.....yet, but we tend to walk a lot when we are out there much to my hubby's disgust! Ha ha ha Shame the weather isnt brilliant at the mo, we found November not too bad but then I guess Im used to the chilly Scottish weather so find pretty much anything warmer than here! Enjoy and safe journey home!xx
Haha! Love the dvd premier! Was thinking of getting popcorn to dish out for mine π
Weβve walked so far today, mastered the metro! But currently sat in the hotel worried as turns out Nov 17th is a big day here everyear as 45 years ago 48 students were killed at the polytechnic and currently there is a huge riot outside the American embassy, fire bombs and all and apparently 5000 riot police there π¬π¬xx
Iβve already been down to reception to check we will still get to the airport tomorrow, apparently itβs βnormalβ here ok this date! Donβt ever come over Nov 17th!! Haha! Xx
Ha ha ha noted! We'vealways missed that date thankfully, although we tend to stay by the beach. They don't seem to get a lot of trouble as such over there so hopefully tomorrow will be a new day! Safe journey home & hope it's not too long until you guys can start again. Hope hubby keeping ok too!xx
Glad it all went well.my dear! The clinic should listen to you if you've got a second opinion and I hope they do. Sounds like you're off to a good start for the next round I hope it all goes well for you xx
Glad it went well, it must be somewhat a relief that you have answers and can move forward with a more positive outlook? Can I ask how much it cost and could you PM me the clinic u went too? I presume this canβt be done on the NHS?x
I canβt believe they give you a DVD?!!! Iβve got mine in December and your update has made me feel better, so thank you so much. Iβm glad it was helpful as well, fingers crossed for the next cycle lovely xxxx
Iβm glad itβs helped you π Iβm emotionally pretty strong but was so upset being left on my own as hate the journey we have to go through, but turned out the surgeon who did it was the consultant from the clinic so when we got there afterwards he was sat in the chair! π I was like, oh you were the surgeon ππ Iβve literally had zero pain and only bled for about a day, I even questioned if Iβd actually had anything done as not even slight cramping ππ» so all will be good for you xx
I had the same thing last month - I also had a wobble in the waiting room thinking youβve never had a GA before & now youβre having one in Greece! Good one ππ but as you say itβs amazing & I couldnβt fault their after care! It made me laugh also when we went back for our appointment with consultant after op & there was a man sitting there! He said he was the surgeon, I apologised & said I didnβt remember him to which he said thatβs fine we did speak but I get that a lot!! God knows what I said to him π It made me laugh to bring the DVD home too, I thought thereβs private treatment for you & my mum watched it - my boyfriend was like why have I seen this twice?!!!! π It amazed me what my insides looked like, no wonder nothing has ever been able to implant in there!!!! Our consultant said it would be like trying to plant a flower in concrete! Still onwards & upwards & wishing you all the success for your next steps! We are due to go back next week if my body would just play ball!!!! π€π€π€ Sade journey home xx
