Not sure if you can help. We need to use a sperm donor but there are no issues with my side of things.
Will I still need to go on a long protocol of stimming? Or is a natural cycle possible? We are on our one and only nhs funded cycle of that makes a difference.
Any help/advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks.

Natural cycles tend to be chosen for women who are older and wouldn't respond well to stimm, so from my knowledge it will depend on your age, number of follicles, your AMH etc, at least that's how it was explained to my wife. If your AMH is low, I can't see them putting you on a long protocol.
At least with sperm donor, you shouldn't have to do ICSI and hopefully they will get you enough embies so they can transfer at least 1 and freeze the rest.
We only had 1 funded cycle and I would say make a plan if you are unlucky and it doesn't work, we sort of un-realistically hoped we beat the odds and it would work for SURE, so when it didn't, it really crushed us. If we had a back up plan, and prepared for the worst, hoped for the best, it would have been much better to cope.
