Hope you are all doing as well as you can do in these uncertain times. I, like many of you on here have had my second cycle of treatment cancelled! Who knows when we can try again.
In other news, my failed cycle was at the end of Feb. I started bleeding on 27th Feb before my test day so I knew it was game over before we tested. Fast forward a month and I'm currently waiting on my period starting. I usually have a 28 day cycle but currently on day 32 but so far all I've had is a little bit of spotting yesterday. Is it normal for ivf to mess with your next natural cycle? I'm usually pretty regular!
I find the first couple of months after are all out of sync and longer than normal - my consultant said it was very normal and due to all the drugs we’ve been pumped full of xx

Thanks for the reply Daisy. Hopefully it'll show itself soon enough and I will be back to normal at some point in the not too distant future.
Was reading about the journey you've had to date. In awe of you, you are one strong lady. Take care xx
Hiya! Like yourself our first ivf failed- our second has also been cancelled. My first AF was 21 days after our BFN and I am normally 26 days....my body is finally settling down so I'm hoping for a more settled cycle this month. Try not to worry our bodies has been through so much....I was initially gutted that out next ivf was cancelled although we expected it given the challenges the NHS are under at the moment, still never makes it easier. All we have been doing is getting mentally and physically ready for the next one whenever that will be. Best wishes to you and keep safe Xx

Hey, sorry to hear you are in the same boat I am! Glad to hear you are getting back to normality. I was initially very upset when it was cancelled but am now seeing it as an opportunity to get as ready as possible next time (including saving some pennies haha). Hopefully you and I will be on round 2 soon enough and wishing you lots of luck for when you do!xx
Hi, I've been thinking about you since we last messaged. I hope you are ok. Are you starting stims on this next period? Although I hope it doesnt arrive 🤞 xx
Hi love, thanks for the message. I'm doing ok thanks. Sounds like your little bean is doing well so far. Was sad to read you're having to go back to the ward at this scary time.
We were supposed to start this week on a short protocol to try and freeze some embryos before the virus caused a lockdown....sadly the clinic changed their minds and cancelled our cycle so now we have to wait till everything has blown over. But lucky they did with the lockdown starting! Hope you're doing ok xx
Hi, sorry I've just seen this reply in my emails. I've been really suffering with 3 day migraines every week and sickness, but who am I to complain.
Luckily I only did 2 shifts and they moved me to HR and I'm now on the Covid hotline for absent employees, when I'm not off sick with a migraine.
That's such a shame about your next cycle 😭 I hope this goes away really quickly and everyone gets to start their journeys again. Wishing you the best of luck xxx
Hello! I’m sorry my to hear about your failed cycle. I had a very similar experience to you- my test day was 29th feb but started bleeding 4 days prior, and our 2nd cycle being cancelled. My period was about 5/6 days later than normal but deffo just be the drugs. Take care - I’m definitely seeing this time as a fab opportunity to get prepared for the next one x
