What type of pain and where? No experience of this but if severe you need to get medical attention immediately. Take care x

The pain it is all around my belly and lower back.

I was doing well, just cramps from time to time, however, half an hour ago this strong pain started I cannot sit on my bottom now laying down and hoping it stops.

Thanks x

I would call 111. Could it be ohss? Hope you get help soon xx

I just called and she recommended paracetamol

Really? Had you tried that already? Hmmm, does your clinic have an out of hours number? Or can you call to see if your local EPU might be open?

I had very similar after my EC. Hot water bottles and paracetamol was my saviour! Didn’t completely get rid of the pain but did ease it. I think mine was more due to the fact they couldn’t access my left ovary so it never got ‘drained’. My pain (lower back and belly) was mainly on my left side. It eased but was still slightly there till about 3 days after ET.

Definitely mention it to your clinic! And contact 111 again if it doesn’t seem to be improving. xx

I remember not being able to sit down comfortably after EC. Felt like an old lady trying to sit! Was very bloated, but I felt ok day of transfer though. Keep hot water on over night and fingers crossed you feel better tomorrow. Good luck 🤞🏻. And do call clinic if it gets worse x

Oh no I’m sorry to hear this! As already mentioned a hot water bottle and paracetamol is all you can do really. And drink lots of water. I’ve been there so I know how frustrating it is when there’s not much else you can do but honestly it does ease. Have a good nights sleep and hopefully tomorrow your be much better. Good luck xx
