Yesterday starterd to get brown after I wiped on and off now starting to get some darker pink and blood in it , no pain , did test was negative my test date fri ! Dunno what to do it's not like a period (yet) any idea ?? Is it over ??

Hi Melaineh. Oh dear! This waiting game is dreadful for you girls! If I remember rightly, you had 2 embryos transferred? For this reason, try and remain hopeful, as perhaps you may have lost one of the embryos, but you need to keep up with your progesterone if you’ve been prescribed it, just in case all is well with the 2nd one. You can’t really say your treatment cycle has failed until you have tested on the correct day. Just rest when you can and we will just keep hoping. Remember that when you have been lying down or sleeping, you quite often have heavier spotting when you get up, as any leakage will have “puddled”. Also, make sure that when you test it is with your first wee in the morning, as results can dilute throughout the day. Diane

Thanks Diane it's so strange it's only when a wipe a not like red bright blood , the neg test just flings me a little but as u say it's not test day yet , xx

My test dates actually fri but had to test today cause the bleeding and it was negative so it's al ended for me 2 how ru xx

I'm OK thanks. I've taken annual leave for a few days so at least I don't have to deal with work. We went out for lunch and I had a glass of wine and a double espresso! F*** it! Might get pissed this weekend. I'm feeling very sad though, just trying to keep busy. Make sure you test again on Friday. Don't give up hope. Is the bleeding heavy like a period? xx

Maybe if it stays light it could be 'breakthrough' bleeding and not a real period. If you don't have any pain, maybe its not your period.

I'm with GRI same as you. I don't know how long they make you wait. just posted the form back to say its negative so I suppose I need to wait to speak to them about it when I get another appointment xx

That's right thought we were same , yeh a did think that at first as no pain but really no hope xx

Keep a tiny bit of hope, but prepare yourself for Friday. Once you know for sure you can start to come to terms with it xx

A am really calm the now but a new for few days just didn't believe had worked so kinda of new this would happen still not nice but just need keep trying xx

It's all you can do. I know we get 2 goes on the NHS, but annoys me when folk say "don't worry you get another go". They wouldn't say to someone who doesn't need IVF " Don't worry, you can try again next month, but if it doesn't work that month after that we're going to sterilise you," We took a loan out so could maybe get a 3rd go privately, but after that I think I'd have to give up. What about you? xx

Exactly a dunno if could afford a 3rd time a was made redundant few months back but all worry about that when comes to it xx
