So about 20 minutes ago I had some cramp pain on my right side around my ovary and I've just gone to the loo and found this. It's on my knickers too.

Pain stopped now but should I go to hospital/epu?

i am so sorry you’re going through this. I would go to EPU to get checked over. Hopefully this a blip- many women bleed in early pregnancy and baby’s are fine. Good luck xoxo

I’m bleeding like this too hun but a lot heavier and have been since Monday. I went to a&e last week as it was pouring out and they couldn’t do anything other than check my cervix/womb was still closed. If your epu is open call them they will be able to scan you xxx sorry you are going through this keep positive xxx

Awwww big hugs. Hopefully we are all having placenta implantation bleeding. I can't say don't worry as I've drove myself insane all weekend and know it's easier said than done, but take deep breaths, try not to panic and know we are all thinking of you xx

So I went to bed for an hour and there's been no further blood on my pad but still getting pink when I wipe. Called epu and they can't accept walk ins so they said depending on how bad the bleeding and pain is I'd need to go to a&e who would then refer me. We are going to stay put for now, I'm having a cup of tea and giving it another hour and will then decide what to do. The scan Friday did say I had a cyst on my right ovary so I'm wondering if that could have burst and caused this as the pain was on my right? She mentioned a corpus liteum but not sure what that was about?

Oh that’s disappointing sorry hun.

I always have corpus luteum cysts every month they always show on scans. They are a normal part of the cycle- they happen after ovulation has occurred. I don’t think they are anything to be concerned over.

Perhaps as you’re pregnant the hormones are making the cyst worse? I wouldn’t be surprised if that was causing the bleeding especially as the pain is always that side.

Rest up and see how you feel and make a decision xoxo

So I've been to the loo again and no more on the pad and only a tiny bit of pink when I wiped with a tiny brown stringy bit in. However we are going to head to a&e to hopefully be referred to epu as I'm concerned about the pain I had and the cyst and I think I'd rather get checked if I can

Hopefully it is ‘just’ the cyst!! That would make sense from what you describe and hoping that’s the case for you. Let us know how you get on at the epu xx

So saw a doctor at a&e, he did my blood pressure, temp, listened to chest, heart, felt my tummy and checked my urine. He said all was ok although there was some blood in my urine but only a bit. He was worried about an infection but nothing showing. As I had a private scan Friday they won't scan me again until this Friday so they booked me in for 8.30am Friday.

He told me not to worry as my urine showed a strong positive but not sure that's much comfort to me as even after a miscarriage it shows positive for a while.

I know I said I wouldn't worry after my reassuring scan Friday but this bleeding was more than I've had before and was closer to red. Still slight pink when I wipe too. 😢

I'm meant to be doing a newborn shoot in the morning (I'm a photographer) and whilst hubby thinks I should still do it to keep my mind occupied I'm just not sure

Sounds like the doc was as thorough as he could be without actually scanning. Tell yourself it was the cyst you felt, get a good sleep, and do your newborn shoot to absorb those gooey positive vibes 😍 the day will go quick then one day close to your scan x

I have been googling so much trying to find images of leakage which is classified as 'Ok'. Based on some of the things I have seen yours is nothing! Not that that helps at all as you are one person and they are others. But hopefully your scan again on Friday will show all ok.

Hope you can relax. Try to enjoy the shoot? Somehow. Xx

My sister bled bright red blood with clots throughout the first trimester. Her twins were perfectly fine. It can happen and still be ok - I know that won’t stop you worrying but hope that reassures you a bit. Keep the faith 🤞xxx

Thank you - did they say what caused it?

I’m not sure they had an answer - I think at the scan they saw where the bleed had been coming from but it hadn’t affected them somehow. They were still there, hearts beating and doing well. Bleeding can be due to so many things and it doesn’t necessarily have to mean things are going wrong, it’s just such a shame it causes so much heartache. Hang in there xxx

Just had more pink/red blood so have postponed my photoshoots and hubby is going to work from home tomorrow to be with me.

Keep baby and me in your prayers xx

Sounds like a good plan, glad he will be with you too. It’s a lot of emotional stress to deal with. Hopefully it’ll all come to nothing. Will be thinking of you xxx

I’m not particularly religious, actually not at all, but I will definitely be thinking of you and your little one. I will think all the positive vibes I can for you. Infertility, ivf, it’s so bloody cruel at times that it actually makes me really mad inside 😡 We’ve been through enough, all of us, why can’t we just get to be happy like any other woman?? xx

I'm not religious at all either but I guess I just always use the prayers terminology. Thank you lovely lady xx

Thank you darling, I don't know what I would have done this week without the help of the kind people here. Sometimes I just feel a picture better shows the situation to see if others have experienced the same and for it to have all been ok.
