Hey ladies I am having a lot of cramps and my back, bum and tummy I’m 6 weeks pregnant today and I’m feeling absolutely awful 😢 I had my Covid booster the other day so I’m hoping it’s just the after effects of that and not another miscarriage 😭😭😭 my husband literally sat on YouTube while I have been crying and just didn’t seem bothered he’s not even tried to help me clean I’ve done it all on my own while in terrible pain

Sending you love and best wishes. All I can say positive is that I had horrific lower back pain, groin and bum and tang my clinic in a panic. They said just ride with it. I used a hot water bottle on my back and paracetamol. They said I could take codeine but I don’t react well with it so didn’t. Things settled down for me but then happened again every so often. Hope everything will be okay. Sorry he’s not been supportive. Men can be so insensitive . Sending love x

Thank you for you’re response my uncle is here taking care of me now he’s more like my dad he brought me up, he just got me a hot water bottle while my husband is just laying on the sofa xx

So glad your uncle came over. Try and be positive but I know that’s so hard. It’s one hell of an awful journey but you are a warrior x

I’m sorry your husband isn’t being more attentive and supportive bloody men 🥲 twinges are normal in pregnancy as baby grows uterus and other surrounding ligaments will stretch and that can cause mild cramping. I would put your feet up sod the housework! You matter more😁 keep up fluids as pregnancy is awful for causing constipation and these can feel like cramping too. My midwife told me to expect cramping when baby had a growth spurt ( I was 16 weeks pregnant with my daughter at the time and told to expect cramps then) I was glad to be warned as I would’ve freaked out! There is no link to increase of miscarriage with Covid vaccination. I know how you feel as I had spotting at 14 weeks a day after having my 2nd Covid vaccination I was so scared but my baby us fine and I’m 33 weeks pregnant tomorrow. I’ve had 3 early losses and 1 late loss and I know previous losses can really make you so much more anxious ( I’m still anxious now ) and rob the excitement and joy out a pregnancy which should be a happy and wonderful time 🥲 you could always ask the early pregnancy unit for a scan tomorrow just for reassurance with the timing of it and previous losses mine gave me a scan the next day afterwards I found them very accommodating and supportive 😁 some early pregnancy units require a drs referral ( mine does) and some allow you to self refer. I hope they can offer you scan so you can put your mind at rest Xx

Try not to worry too much please. My sister had a lot of cramps and pain in her early pregnancy say from 6 weeks which she ended up visiting the hospital a lot of time but her baby was ok she is now 20 weeks + and still has the pain sometimes that to even work at times was a big problem for her in the early days of her pregnancy call your doctor and cry to them to book you in for early pregnancy scan that will help you

Honestly some men 🙄 I’m so sorry you’re having to go through this, if you have severe cramps I’d go to A&E just to be on the safe side but if they’re not too bad then try not to worry. As for your husband I’d be telling him to finish the housework for the rest of your pregnancy for being so insensitive, that’ll teach him 😏 sending lots of love xxx

They have kind of calmed down now but I will be ringing docs in the morning just to be on the safe side. And there’s more chance of my cat doing the house work 😂😂 xxx

Hey it’s so rubbish and hard isn’t it. I would check with your clinic tomorrow. I have had some very slight spotting today and cramps, going to call clinic first thing tomorrow. Take care x

I’m 5+3 and have had cramps for two weeks. Some days I really bloat up and feel like I need the toilet and have a lot of gas (which I don’t), and I just have to ride with it for 15 minutes until it disappears. Other days it’s unbearable pain and I feel light headed, but again it disappears within 15 minutes. My clinic is getting me in for an early scan next week, but the nurse I spoke with seemed pretty confident that it’s just early cramps. I totally sympathise with you though, these are the type of symptoms that doctor google does not count as ‘normal’😫 and it can send you into meltdown xx
