Spotting in 2ww

Ladies what are your experiences of spotting in the 2WW?

I’ve had slightly discoloured discharge but it’s gradual rather than a “bleed”

Has anyone else experienced this and still got a BFP? xxx

My successful round I had brown spotting 6dp5det, then on 7dp and 8dp it got heavier and I even had quite a lot of dripping pink watery stuff one evening when I went to the loo (TMI sorry!) I was 100% convinced I was out but did a test at 9dp5dt and there was a faint line that gradually got stronger. It didnt last but at my 7 week scan everything was spot on - I lost it later, and the spotting was a GOOD SIGN. Crossing my fingers its the same for you too lovely xx

Thanks Daisy, I’m on extra lubion so it could be a good sign but I just can’t shake the feeling that it’s my period 😱 and having a bit of a meltdown. I’m so sorry you lost it later. This ivf shit is fucking horrible. Hope you’re doing ok xxx

OK thanks, I felt pretty pissed off over night but felt a bit better this morning. The spotting seems very minimal, definitely hasn't got darker - but I also feel very much like I'm getting my period - my uterus feels weird (only way to describe it) like heavy and not crampy exactly but I'm aware of it... xx

This may not be a bad thing! I had a little bit of implantation arond that time so it may not be a bad thing.....it literally was just a few spots but more brown than pink....although my cycle budding had a little light pink around the same time. Keeping my finders crossed for you.xxx

Thanks lovely - I've never had a positive pregnancy test so I can't really imagine it happening - but trying hard to ignore the things happening in my body and just roll with it today... hope you're doing well! Hows the mania today? xx

I know the feeling well! Are you feeling ok apart from the spotting? I see you are on lubion this time around too so hoping that helps. Im not too bad today, climbed off the ceiling for the day! Ha ha ha Im still not convinced that all is ok and I dont suppose I will be until a see it will my own eyes and even then that will last all of 5mins! Lol Hanging in there though!!xx

Yes I feel fine apart from the spotting. No other signs or symptoms at all (apart from the weird uterus feeling). So I guess it's just a waiting game. I didn't have any spotting last cycle on Lubion, but I did the one before without it.. xxx

Yes, I will confirm it terrifying but grateful to be in this position!! Glad to hear that you are doing ok! It is a waiting game a flipping long one at that but hopefully for good reason!!xxx

I’ve had spotting with BFP and BFN so it’s just a case of hanging on in there but don’t freak out...only with heavy red would i worry xxx

I would describe it as like a very light period and brown rather than red x
