Hello, sorry I don’t know all the abbreviations so please bear with me. I’ve just finished my first round of Ivf. 2 top quality eggs transferred. No symptoms post transfer and I’ve just received a negative hcg home pregnancy test supplied by the clinic on day 15 post egg transfer. I’ve been advised to continuation with medication and take the second test on Tuesday as I still haven’t had my period. Has anybody else been in a similar situation and had a positive second test.

Negative test
Sorry- I haven’t been in a similar situation but hopefully other people will see the post and be able to share. X
I have but take advice if clinic and test again and on the second test it was still negative sadly.
Sometimes the pessaries delay your period from coming but still take advice of clinic and retest it some freak incident it may turn
Out positive you just u never know x
Sorry I don't have experience but just wanted to wish you luck and send good wishes xx
Hi there, I’m really sorry to hear this. It is just such a difficult journey to get to test day, and so devastating to get a negative result. We’ve had two negative results, after each one the clinic advised me to stop taking all meds and to test again in a weeks time. After stopping the progesterone on one cycle my period came really quickly, on the other I did test again but still negative. Thinking of you 💛 x
Hello Shable, im sorry I've got no experience of this. Im still in the early parts of my journey. I wish you well xx
I've not got any experience but didn't want to read and run. Sending you lots of hugs x
On my first ivf cycle I got a negative on test day and my period hadn't started, my clinic advised that I continue with the medication and test 2 days later. I had a lot of symptoms as well. Unfortunately for me it was negative on the next test, my clinic advised me to stop my medication and my period came a day later. I've read some woman testing later gitting positives. Did you have a day 5 transfer? Wishing you lots of luck for you next test xx
Sorry to hear this, hopefully you get better news on Tuesday. If not, you’ll be ok. I got a bfp only to find out I had an empty sac at 7 weeks, I think I’d rather a bfn than a bfp that fails to go anywhere. Good luck whichever way this road takes you Xx
