Preparing my body for cycle four 😞

I can’t believe I am saying this but I am preparing myself mentally and physically for cycle four.

We plan to start again in the new year around Feb which will be 2 years since our first cycle and one year since our third failed.

I am making lots of changes and the biggest is searching for a new job I am so mentally and physically drained from work so want a fresh start. I have been taking dhea since sept and coq10. I had my first reflexology session last week and will be having one every week now. I am starting to look at my lifestyle in regards to exercise and diet. We are also off to the fertility roadshow this weekend.

I feel very scared that we may have to move on to donor eggs if this fails but we will continue to fight on.

I’m so sorry I don’t post or comment very often I do come on daily to check how everyone is but find it hard to be positive which isn’t anyone on here’s fault.

Thanks for reading my long post just needed to get this out of my head so it starts to feel real xx

It's good that you're thinking ahead and starting to prepare for cycle 4. I'm starting cycle 2 in the new year. I've ordered DHEA and Ubiquinol so it'll be interesting to see if there will be any difference.

I think you should go for a new job especially if the current one is draining etc.

Good luck for your cycle

Xxx

Your doing everything that you can, and all these changes we help you mentally leaps and bounds. I’ve lost over 2stone since jan and feel sooo much better for it. I eat a more high protein diet now as read that’s good for fertility and walk miles with our dogs every week, it’s my thinking time and I actually really enjoy it after being stuck at a computer all day.

Prepare yourself in any way that makes you feel good and positive. I had 4 rounds with my own eggs before moving onto donor, so I know the pressure this last round causes. Everything in moderation as they say, and most of all don’t forget to just enjoy life, the more ivf consumes you the more it drains you. Look forward to Xmas and enjoy it and hopefully come Feb you’ll be in the right space mentally, emotionally and physically and hoping you get your bfp xx

Wow that’s amazing I haven’t managed to shift any weight I have gained since my first cycle. I completely get the walking thing after being at work. I hope everything goes well with your donor cycle. Thank you for your diet tip xx

Yeah with each of my cycles I steadily gained more and more weight, then in a wierd way once I’d accepted the donor eggs was going to be our route I just thought, ‘right, time to change’! Wish I’d had that mind set when I was cycling myself, but better late then never! Xx

I have everything crossed for you. This is your time xx

IVF can feel like such a long, long road, can't it? But it sounds like you're doing everything right and - fingers crossed - your time is just around the corner. Good luck X

Best of luck for cycle 4. I'm on cycle 1 and I know it won't count for much (coming from random stranger on the internet) but I think that you're so strong and amazing, fingers crossed this one is the one x

Good luck for cycle 4, im starting my cycle 4 just now so I know the feeling of being utterly drained emotionally about it all and I was also given the option of donor eggs (which im not interested in) so we must be in similar situations. Ive been on the DHEA since August so fx for us both having the eggs of a 20 year old !! Xxx

in reply toBexta6060

Thank you good luck to you too it’s such a horrible journey but have to hold on to the fact it will be our turn soon. I am very mixed on donor eggs the reason we are having icsi is due to a male factor but they are now saying I have poor eggs too. My husband has always been very open about sorry donor if we ever required one so feel I should be the same about donor eggs.fingers crossed the dhea works wonders for us both. Here if you ever want to talk ☺️ xx

Hiya. I'm looking to start my third fresh cycle next year too. Where do you buy your dhea from? I know what you mean about reading more than writhing. I read all the time but only write when I am feeling positive. I think it's okay to do that. Hard to be positive all of the time.

in reply toRainbowhope

Hi I wish you lots of luck for your third cycle. I have been buying my dhea from mcpherson labs can send you details if you like. It really is hard to be positive some days. Thank you for your kind words 😊 xx

Sorry for the delay in replying to everyone it was a manic day at work trying to fit everything in results in 10 to 11 hour days. Hence the new job required 😴 x

All the very best 🙏❤️ In a similar position to you preparing for 3rd and final icsi early next year. Hoping the dhea and coq10 really will help 😀 maybe its the mental preparation I most struggle with, but we all have to keep on 💪 🤞 Good luck with your job hunt too Xxx
