Post EC pain

I currently am experiencing quite bad pain/discomfort in my left ovary. I had egg collection Tuesday, they could only access my right ovary. So I guess my left is ‘naturally’ realeasing the eggs, or is it something else?. However, paracetamol and a hot water bottle isn’t helping. My poor hubby, I must have kept him awake most of the night. Anyone have any other tips to help ease the pain? I’m drinking all the water!

Oh no I’m sorry to hear this. I was the same after EC so I know how awful it is. Are you also extremely bloated? It is normal to be in some discomfort but see how you go over the next couple days and speak to your nurse if you have anymore symptoms. Apart from what you have already said, unfortunately I don’t think there is anything else you can do.

I don’t feel too bloated and my right side is pain free. I am booked for ET tomorrow morning 🙈 Have a feeling they may suggest delaying that because of this?

No suggestions because it sounds like you’re already trying everything you should be. Obviously tell your clinic. Hopefully they’ll still let you go ahead with transfer if that’s what you’d like xx

Sorry to hear you are in pain. I would contact your clinic for advice, they will be able to tell you if this is normal or not. They should be able to put your mind at rest about your transfer so you don’t feel so stressed xx

I don't have any other tips to what you've already tried but I would definitely give the clinic a call.

Don't have any more advice than the ladies above, I'd just 2nd or 3rd (not sure how many people have said it above) to call your clinic. Really hope you feel better soon x
