This took me to the home page, but was it this you were referring to?

bbc.co.uk/news/health-45977524

I read it this morning and was so saddened by it, I didn’t realise this was happening in some areas of the UK. Having just gone through my first NHS round at 35, I just can’t imagine having been refused and can’t believe this is what’s happening to some women :(

I agree... which is unfair. Am lucky enough to be able to afford my treatments privately otherwise I would be on this nhs bucket of reject! Nhs should give people the opportunity to conceive regardless of money 💰

I was really shocked to read this. Thank you for sharing. We need to take action!

Where we live in London, in one borough you get NONE, in other boroughs just a bus ride away you get THREE funded cycles for all women under 42.

Its a sham the system we have now.

Absolutely shocking! How is this even allowed?!

Terrible. Makes me so cross that people can go to their GP saying they feel bad about their small boobs and get a boob job on the NHS but when being faced with a childless future couples are being denied treatment. Absolutely unfair, devastating and life changing. What do people do if they can’t afford private treatment? People are being penalised for getting themselves well educated, on the housing ladder and established in their careers before embarking on a family - paying their fair share in taxes! Many of whom don’t realise they have fertility issues until they start trying. Just so unfair.

We were lucky to have one round funded on the NHS but if we lived in the next county we’d get three. Post code lottery. Shouldn’t be that way.

Thank you for sharing. Needs to be addressed. (Sorry rant over now!)
