FET advice

Hi, I'm currently waiting for a natural FET which they had planned to do next Thursday (1st). I had my first scan on Monday and my lining was 5.3mm (CD8) and I had another scan today and it was only at 5.8mm. They've put me on Evorel patches and I will be scanned again on Saturday or Monday, depending on when I ovulate. I just wondered if anyone has experienced the same and seen the patches have a dramatic effect on your lining thickness? I'm really hopeful it will help and we won't have to postpone, although I know that if we do it'll be for the right reasons and we want the conditions to be as good as they can be! Thanks!

I was on the patches for a medicated fet but I wasn’t struggling with lining issues too badly so unfortunately I can’t really advise but I can tell you that even a few days on new meds/higher dosages can make a huge difference. Good luck xx

Thank you that’s really good to know. I’m monitoring for ovulation and it’s later than expected so I’m hoping it’ll give it time to thicken up nicely!! x

Thanks again for your advice - all was good on Monday. The patches did their job and it got to 8.1mm so we're good to go on Friday! x

Hi, I saw a big boost on my last frozen cycle when they introduced the patches and moved me up to 4 tablets a day, so fingers crossed you get the same this time! Weirdly, I’ve been on the patches and higher dose tablets from the start this time and just had my scan yesterday and was only 5.5 so frustrating - there sometimes seems to be no rhyme or reason for things! Bloomin lazy linings. Fingers crossed for a lining boost all round!x

Thank you for this - it's amazing what a difference it all makes. The patches did their job and my lining was 8.1mm on Monday so we're all good to go on Friday. All that worry over nothing ;-)! x
