FET completed... so anxious... advice welcome

I have just returned From a double transfer. I really didn’t think I would get to this stage, it’s been a long time coming due to lining issues. I went for a 12 day scan on 12mg of progynova and it was just 5.1mm I carried on and on day 15 it was at 7mm was so happy as it had a great structure and the FET was booked. When I arrived today I asked for a scan as I was still anxious about the lining and wanted my mind at rest and it had gone back to 6.3mm. I was distraught however when we saw the consultant he was angry that I had been given a scan as I had been on progesterone since last Friday, he said the lining will have shrunk as it compacts which is why they don’t scan after starting this usually and it is nothing to worry about. Is this correct? We went ahead with the transfer. I’m now lay here so anxious. I was never going to have a thick lining and this maybe the best I’d ever get but I can’t help thinking I have done the wrong thing x

Hi, yes it's true it compacts after progesterone. I was told this last FET. Congrats on the transfer. Positive thinking now. Rest up and distract your mind. You can do this xx

Hi try not to worry about the lining going back down, the exact same happened to me, I was 6.2mm at time of transfer (it had gone down from 6.8) & I’m currently 17 weeks pregnant. Wishing you the very best of luck xxx
