Well, here we are again. The alarm was set and pinged me at 8pm to remind me (as if I needed it) that now is the time to marry together my intake of progynova (oral) with the joyous insertion of my utrogestan pessaries (vaginal). This will allow readiness for the transfer this coming Friday.
OH is in California for work and gets home Tuesday evening and then Wednesday morning we will be getting our flight to Barcelona.
Eeeek, we are nearing the time. I am surprisingly relaxed about the nice trip to Spain and getting PUPO. The temperatures are looking to be around 22degrees which will be lovely, and having 2 days either side of the transfer will just allow such a relaxed and sunny time around it all. Somehow bringing back some of the magic around conception in one way.
So I will just add a picture of the beach near where I live. This is where I went today with friends for lunch. Everything calm, everything ready, everything focused.
Sending positivity and calm to you all wherever you are in this horrible crazy journey. Xxx
All the very best to you! can sense your positivity throughout your post which is fab! Having those 2 days either side of the transfer is a great idea to help you relax. Fingers crossed for you xxx🙏🤞
Keeping fingers and toes crossed for your sticky bean this time!! It sounds like a lovely break actually- hope I can do a similar thing when I have my transfer! Xx
It really is and makes a real difference not to rush over just for a day or two. I do hope you get to go that way when you go too. And thank you so much for the wishes xx
Thanks for sharing. Enjoy your time in the sun honey. Best of luck with your transfer, sending you positive vibes. I know everyone on here going through this process will make lovely mums xxx
Best of luck Camillage! I’ve started the pessaries today too, I’ve been taking Progynova for over ten days now. I am off to Spain too on Friday to have my FET. My thoughts are for you, I hope we’ll both succeed this time. xx
Ahhhh wishing you so much luck for your coming transfer! Barcelona is lovely at this time of year, hopefully you'll get lots of time to soak up the atmosphere and sun to help you relax! Keep us posted!xx
Cycle buddy!! Brilliant positivity!! I have every faith this is your time. Its sounds really good that you have a few days either side in Barcelona to relax...will make the 2ww go quicker as well im sure! I'm only able to go to Madrid for 2 nights as my OH doesn't have much time off work so will have to travel back the day after transfer which i'm nervous about. I am off work when i get back but the flight is making me nervous. Anyway... hope the pessaries aren't too ergh!!! I will be starting them soon too. Wishing you so much luck lovely!!🤞xx
Flights will be fine - just make sure OH puts your bag in the overhead area. You won't be allowed to lift anything over 5kg. So exciting that the day is getting closer. Just planning my next day or so with work to get everything tied up before I go. Hope you have found a way to relax? Xx
Thanks for the tips. I am listening to mindful IVF which is good in the lead up. There are specific ones for DE and for the 2ww. What are you doing to relax?x
Walks by the sea or in parks with Lots of trees (I read that trees naturally stabilise nk cells), mindfulness, acupuncture, listening to relaxing music and kineseology. I also went for a float yesterday which was amazing. Tonnes of Epsom salts so I have a huge magnesium boost as well as an amazing float. I almost feel like I am floating a long to Friday ha ha x
Good luck!! 🤞 Sounds fab, hope it goes like a dream xx
You sound wonderfully positive 😁 best of luck with the transfer. Xx P.s. you are so lucky to live near a beach!

Thank you. We all have our positive days and our not so positive days so thought it would be good to share. Also, yes I am very very lucky to live by the beach. Xx
