Let the 2WW commence!

Just go back from the clinic with 2 embryos on board! 🥳🥳🥳

Came down with a stinking cold/virus yesterday (I hardly ever get ill but did during my last cycle too, bloody typical). Had a good cry this morning imagining having a coughing fit with the speculum in and firing my embryos out into the doctors face 😂

Transfer went brilliantly though - no firing of embryos, much quicker and smoother than my previous ones so couldn’t have gone any better really! Phew

Good to know you had a smooth transfer. Are you allowed to take anything for the cold? All the best with g this transfer and try to relax in the 2WW. ❤️

Good luck for 2ww wait, my acupuncturist recommended Sambucol extra defence syrup on one of my last cycles as I often get cold too and honestly I had a few swigs a day and shortened the length of the cold considerably. Think boots and tescos are usually 3 for 2 as it’s about £10 a bottle so not cheap but 1 doesn’t last long as it’s so nice and just vitamins! Xx

No problem, I’ve just got some from tescos myself as got egg collection next week so I’m prepared 😂 make sure it’s the extra defence one as the others haven’t got as much vitamins in x

Happy 2WW! Let's hope those 2 are sticky ones. I got a stinking cold after both of my transfers. I read somewhere that it's because your body lowers your immunity to help accept the embryos. Don't know if that's true or utter nonsense but I certainly had colds both times 🤷🏽‍♀️ Good luck lovely x
