Cramps

Had my first fresh transfer yesterday. I realise everyone has different first signs/ symptoms of pregnancy but my friend who is currently pregnant from IVF said her only sign was dull/ cramping period style pains first few days. Has anyone been pregnant and had this cramping / period style pains right from first day of implantation? so confusing because googling Cyclogest pessaries which I’m on also tells you cramping is a side effect of them so I don’t know what to think 🤷🏻‍♀️🤞😣

A lot of the dull cramping will probably still be from egg collection and your ovaries settling down. You are also right with the cyclogest pessaries they do cause a lot of symptoms/side effects and cramping can be one of them too. I know its easier said than done but try to keep yourself busy. Boxsets and long walks in the fresh air are great and good for clearing the head!xx

The progesterone pessaries cause a lot of symptoms similar to pregnancy. I was never sure what was causing the symptoms. Try and relax, have some you time. You deserve it after everything you've just been through. Keep busy during your 2 week wait. And good luck xx

It's rather cruel but the Cyclogest does mimic symptoms of pregnancy.

Try, if possible to keep yourself occupied in your 2ww.

Wishing you lots of luck. Xxx
