Cramps post ET

Following my First ET last week I’ve had constant cramping pain, similar to period pains. Has anyone experienced this?

I don’t know anyone who has been through IVF, I feel so isolated at the moment.

Only on my two bfp cycles! Good luck xx

Hi, I had ET on Saturday. I've had cramps like period pains quite a few times but not constantly. I know it's hard but try not to read too much into any symptoms or cramps etc. From the posts on here everyone has different signs/symptoms during the dreaded 2ww and you can drive yourself crazy!! I also don't know anyone who has had IVF before so this site is great for advice and support. Best of luck on your test day! Xx

Hi Mrsdenzil. Hopefully all down to your womb just settling down again after all the pulling and pushing it’s been through, before and during transfer. Just rest when you can and perhaps take some paracetamol to help you unless you’ve been prescribed something else. Hope all goes well. Diane

Hi, it is a very tough journey, this group is a great support and will always get back to you when your feeling down and of course when your feeling positive. It's nice to be able to chat about anything with the ladies on here and they always have fab advice.

Anyway, I had cramping on my failed and bfp cycle. I keep telling myself not to read into my symptoms but soon find myself googling everything lol. Fingers crossed we all get our dream. Good luck xx

I’ve had my ET on the 8 Oct and will be testing this Monday. I’m cramping on and off every day. Like you I’m worried but so many ladies here say that it could be a good sign. I suspect it could be from progesteron and might have nothing to do with the result. Good luck to you xx

It's so natural to have the cramps as there has been a lot of interference down there. I would tell myself that every thing is a good sign and step away from Google. But then Google calls so loudly and is so readily available and eager to please isn't it!

Just know that every niggle, twinge, ache and feeling can mean a good sign and a bad sign. So the best thing to do is to focus on visualising your little emby settling in and snuggling down.

Good luck xxx
