Hope you are all well. I am on my second round of IVF. This time FET. First fresh ended in a miscarriage at 13 weeks. I had a LH surge on Saturday evening. A scan followed on Tuesday morning and the follicle/cyst was still there. The nurse did not say anything clear just that it will be discussed on a meeting and will call me back.she also mentioned I will probably be scanned again. yesterday they called to inform they will proceed with the transfer tomorrow at 10.30am. I am a bit confused. when i've asked about the scan they said there is no need? Anyone's been through this?
Thanks

Ive just been learning about this too. Some of the other ladies informed me that ovulation doesnt actually take place at the point of surge, its 24-36 hours after (apologies if you knew this already) so Im guessing from what they have seen on scan that they dont feel it necessary to rescan and to just go ahead with transfer. Good luck!xx
Cinderella is right. A positive opk detects your surge in Luteinising Hormone being at a peak level, which indicates that ovulation will soon take place, not that you have or are ovulating at that time. Good luck xx
No knowledge of this but wanted to wish you all the best xc
