Bad news but some good too! :)

Hi everyone

Last time I updated you was my egg collection day where 15 eggs were collected.

Out of those, 14 were marure,11 fertilized and 8 made it to good quality blastocysts, so I put one back and I have 7 in the freezer. I was beyond happy on my tranfer day. I never imagined having such good numbers, and the knowledge that I have so many back ups put me at rest.

Yesterday was otd. Sadly it was bfn 😕

I have been telling myself that I am still very lucky for having 7 more frozen embies.

Currently waiting for my clinic to send my the protocol for my FET.

Oh no sweetie I’m so sorry BFN are rubbish.

I’ve heard FET are more successful as there is less stress on your body. Keeping everything crossed that one of the embryos in the freezer is your miracle baby 😍

Aww bless you that’s very sweet. Thank you. We are fine I’m 5 weeks 3 days pregnant ( so further than last time❤️) a day at a time but so far so good 😊

It is a very difficult journey but its definitely worth fighting for. ✨💞Always keep believing ❤️ Your time will come xoxo

Im sorry to hear of your bfn and i understand its the worst feeling in the world, but as you said you have 7 little embies left and that is a amazing number! I wish you all the luck and look after yourself in this difficult time xxx

7 more is absolutely amazing. My clinic say they expect about half to make blasts and that’s is good so all yours making blast is incredible!

So very sorry for your BFN they are bloody awful 😓

But wow 7 blasts on ice!! Holy smokes I had 11 mature eggs 8 fertilize and only 1 good for transfer today (possibly one or 2 tomorrow but not likely) so wow you have 7 chances left your dream baby is one of them embies I guarantee it! Look after yourself during this sad time xxx

Nikib, I am crossing everything for you my lovely. 5 of my frozen embryos are day 6, so I’m very confident that both your embryos can be of good quality to freeze tomorrow

I am so sorry to read this. Well done on being so positive. It really helps to get your bfp in the long run. The next cycle will be so much less harsh on your body as you won't have had to go through the mill of hyper egg production and collection.

Sorry to hear that you got a BFN, they're difficult to get past however all sounding really positive that you have 7 frozen embryos....that is a brilliant position to be in! Hopefully it wont be too long until you can try again when you feel ready. Meantime be kind to yourselves!xx

So sorry for your bfn, good to know that you have another 7 in the freezer which is a great number! I've only done FETs but I feel that they are a lot easier on the body and they have marginally higher success rates! Best of luck for your next cycle x
