Hi all. I had a round of ivf in April last year which was negative result. I went back to the clinic this week to get started on my second round but they wanted to redo some tests first. On my internal scan, the doc showed me what looked like a dark patch and said I have to have another HyCoSy before they start the next round to find out what it is in case it has an impact on implantation. The only thing she mentioned it might be is a fibroid. I’ve never had anything come up on previous scans so new to me. I’ve looked it up and doesn’t seem too sinister but wondering if anyone has had a similar experience and what it turned out to be? Not going for the HyCoSy until 19th October so I’m just going to worry until then 🙄

Nothing sinister but if in the wrong place it can impact implantation so they would just remove it. I believe we are all quite lumpy and bumpy in there but are not usually aware. Please don't worry. Xxx
I keep getting told I have a few fibroids and then when I ask what that means, they just say ‘nothing’ it doesn’t affect anything. Hopefully that will be the same for you xx
