Its hard to explain but I had my tube removed last year and ever since I have felt a kind of pulling pain where my tube would have been. It feels really strange like someone is pulling something from me and I can feel an empty whole of pain. It eases when I push on it but worried it my affect my ivf chances.
Has anyone had a similar experience? If so any advice as to what it is? It comes and goes but is there every other day

I would ask about it. I don't have experience of it myself but I have heard of "ghost limbs" where people still feel an itch in a hand they have had amputated or similar. I think it's something to do with the receptors which feed the brain information about how that limb / organ is feeling are still there sending information to the brain. Strange but nothing to worry about.
However I am not a medical professional so definitely ask your Dr and clinic xx

And I read that having a tube removed does not mean you can't get pregnant. In fact you can have both removed and still get pregnant. Good luck xxx
I have not had a tube removed but I had both of mine clipped and for weeks I was convinced that I could fell the 'clip' or whatever they actually use to clip them, I can't feel it anymore but I would suggest you speak to your doctor.
It sounds awful for you, I hope you get some answers. xxx
It's odd, I had mine clipped end of May and the feeling went on for weeks, I told my husband but he didn't think it was possible. I do think it's possible though, probably our bodies adjusting to something foreign in the body. xx
Hi Sammy, I had my left tube removed last April and had tugging pains and dull aches in that area for quite a while after the surgery. I also had pain at that side around about the time I ovulated. I wondered if it was maybe scar tissue that was causing the pain. I started a round of ICSI last September and the pain didn’t affect my round. The clinic should scan you before starting your round and check everything is looking good before you start. Wishing you lots of luck. Xx
I had a tugging and pulling pain just before ovulation after my left tube was removed but it has stopped now. I would get it checked out anyway and any clinic should do a full scan anyway to make sure there are no issues xx
Thank you for your replies. I had it removed in june last year but it hasn't gone away. I have had internal scans but drs didn't notice anything and I haven't mentioned it before as I haven't thought of it at the times but will mention it at my appointment on Friday xx
