Are you meant to feel anything after ET?

Had ET yesterday and having slight twinges is this normal? It's not constant or very painful. Nurse did say that ovaries will still a bit swollen so I'm assuming could be to do with that. Just want to know if it's normal. It's going to be a long 2 weeks.

I too felt a little uncomfortable after ET, the nurse said it was normal as ovaries needed to recover from being fuller than usual.

I wish you every success!

The 2ww is horrible! ( I'm at the end of my first week). I'm now starting to feel 'normal' ie twinges have stopped etc. But these are also opposite to pregnancy symptoms. It's seriously the longest week of my life!!! I foolishly did a test very early, felt like an idiot afterwards and of course it was negative, but hopefully I won't be tempted again until my test date 15/12. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!! X

Hi PY987, after my egg transfer I didn't feel any particular pain or twinge s except bloated which took a while till it disappear. It completely normal to feel mild cramps or twinges after the whole procedure through which your body has gone. The 2 weeks time is extremly hard and I know how every symptom or no symptom can send you in a panic but try to relax, the time will fly anyway so try to do something you enjoy. I had a lot fresh pineapple and brazil nuts during my 2 weeks I am not sure how much it helps but currently 10 weeks pregnant. Wish you best of luck xxx

Thank you for replying, not a lover of pineapple but I'll Give it ago. I drank milk while trying to grow follicles and I hate milk so I will try anything to help. Yes I feel bloated too but I can handle that.

Hello again. Sorry for early post just read it back, and didn't mean it to sound neggy- I had just woken up!!!!

But it is a challenging time. I've spent the first week analysing EVERYTHING!!! this week I'm going to try to calm down a bit!!!! Good luck XXXX
