So it’s been going a week now and I’m loving hearing your positives from the day, it genuinely makes me smile and is something I look forward to. It helps me look for my own positives which sometimes aren’t that easy to see through our daily struggles around infertility.
So today....
We suddenly realised this morning that it’s exactly 12 years ago today that we met (at our friends wedding - he was the best man and I was a friend of the bride!). It’s felt special because of that and made me reminisce on all we’ve been through together, good and bad, and that we’re still here together.
We haven’t done anything exciting, just unpacked boxes! but I did cook our first roast dinner in our new house, just for the two of us, and it’s been lovely.
So my positive has been reflecting on all that me and hubs have shared and being grateful that I have someone who loves me and holds my hand through all the difficult times.
How have you all been today?? Xxx

awww I love that💜💜💜💜we are a bit tired and hungover today so my hubby dog and I all had afternoon movie with nachos on sofa and a snooze. .bliss 😁public holiday tom too..perfect xxx
My husband and I got up at 8, had some porridge and then went walking around Innerleithen, a part of the Southern Upland Way. It was supposed to be grey and cold today with some rain but it was a gorgeous sunny day and we were the only people doing the walk. The views were stunning and we came home afterwards and had bacon rolls. We didn't bicker the whole time! 👍
We have just had a lovely roast beef dinner and now settling down for the final episode of The Bodyguard with a pot of chamomile tea and some salted dark chocolate. Yum
What a lovely message, sounds like you have a wonderful husband and have a wonderful relationship,
Talking of wonderful husbands, mine set a reminder on Alexa (amazon speaker) last night when I'd just got into bed to tell me how much he loves me, something very small but made me smile and feel all warm and cosy inside!
Had a lovely Sunday lunch cooked by my mum and now cuddling up to Hubbie and watching the second episode of the bodyguard.
Positives for today; I cooked a lovely roast dinner and we had apple pie for pudding.
We booked tickets for the Festival of Light at Longleat today for Myself, My Mum and my Auntie. That’s my Christmas present to them. Hubby and I went last year and although I did get a bit emotional watching the children’s faces light up I thought it was just as magical for adults, besides, I really am feeling stronger at the moment so hopefully I’ll be ok. Today is the one year anniversary of my medical management and I’m doing ok. No tears just plenty of memories xx
Ps another Aunt and Uncle had the second of their joint birthday parties last night and at both parties they’d asked for donations for our treatment so another positive is that today my Aunt told me they’ve got a “nice amount” for us ❣️ xx
It's lovely of your family to ask for donations towards your treatment instead of birthday gifts. So kind. Also, well done for getting through the hard memories you've had lately. It can't be easy xx
I've been waiting for this post today. I've really been neglecting exercising lately because I have felt a bit stressed and unmotivated as our house is upside down. However, today, I stopped worrying about it, went for a really long walk, did some strengthing exercises when I got home, and read a book, which I rarely do these days. Plus the sun came out for our walk so it was beautiful and uplifting. Xx
Happy anniversary of the day you met your husband, and happy new home xx
I’m glad you started this, it is really nice to read what people write!
My positive today was that I spend a lovely few hours with my girlfriends, 1 is getting married soon so we had come cake and fizz and just a good get together! Xx
