Hi All

I'm really just looking for some positive stories. We had appointment about FET today and are now on waiting list to start. I asked about chance with a 6 day embryo compared to 5 day, they said it's a bit lower but still good chance as long as it thaws ok. I just wondered if anyone on here had had success with one?

Thanks for reading. xo

Yeah I was so nervous on transfer day but luckily all was ok!! Thank you I’m really scared for test day but I no there’s nothing I can do about the outcome now!! I’m feeling ok, had a lot of cramping from day one which has seemed to ease off now, also had lots of headaches and really bloated!! But that could be the pessaries!! I really don’t no what to think this time xxx

Hi no experience yet, but we're about to have a natural FET with a 6 day embryo soon just waiting for my body to ovulate! My consultant said the exact same thing success is lower. However it must still be worth a shot! Best of luck xxx

Thanks for the reply 🙂our consultant said it was a good quality embryo so had good chance of producing pregnancy, but it really is hard to know. I'm holding onto the fact that FET isn't so hard physically so hopefully that'll help too. All the best for ur FET,really hope u get ur bfp 🙂xox

Thank you and same to you! FET is definitely a bit less intense! Natural is just crazy especially after being pumped full of drugs all the other time. xx

I have a 6 day frostie, how comes the success rate is lower? And in what way example: is the thawing process lower? Or the pregnancy rate? X

Goodluck for everything xx

Wonder why they have less chance!! You think they’d have a better chance wouldn’t you with being older xx

I think its because they took an extra day to mature to a blastocyst, so slightly slower to develop?? But I'm really not 100% sure. Not sure in regards to thawing or pregnancy rate, probably would have been a good question to ask! They said it was only slightly lower success but definitely a good chance. I'm definitely fully behind and rooting for my day 6 frostie :)

Yeah they were still quite positive with me too that it had a good chance. I guess they wouldn't bother to freeze if they didn't think it had good chance, so I'm trying to focus on that. Good luck to u all, hopefully we will all get our bfps 🙂xo

My last fet was frozen on day 6. It thawed well and was expanding when transferred. Sadly it was a bfn but they said we had every chance. Good luck xx

As long as it thaws and they can see it continue to develop before implanting you should be fine! I’m not sure if mine was a 5 or 6 day because we had two of each and I don’t remember which one they put back on but our natural FET went beautifully and now I am 14 weeks. Wishing you lots and lots of luck and baby dust. I do think a natural FET is less stressful on your body, so in a lot of ways easier for embie to hang around xxxx

Thank u for replying, congrats on ur pregnancy 🙂 yes I'm really holding onto the fact that FET isn't so hard on body, don't think I could cope with another fresh cycle at mo. Hope the rest of ur pregnancy goes smoothly, all the best xox
