Day 6 embryos?

Hi guys my clinic called me this morning with a update on my embryos today would have been day 5 and we were hoping for a transfer today but they told me that all 6 of my embryos are still developing and had not reached blastocyst yet and they are giving them a extra day and will call me in the morning with a update I don't no how to feel at the moment I have no hope any will reach it to blastocyst has this happened to anybody should I still have hope that I might have something to transfer at the moment I have no hope

Absolutely have hope! I froze 2 blastocysts on day 6. Transferred 2, both implanted, one went forward. My daughter is now 2 good luck 🤞 x

Thank you I was devastated when I got the call she said that they were all devolving 1 was looking very promising but I don't want to have to much hope incase I get a call and nothing is there I just assumed that after day 5 they couldn't turn into a blastocyst

It’s a good sign, there are still in the game. I’ve had a day 6 and even a day 7 embryo, but no ultimate success yet. Wishing you luck!!! Xx

my day 6 blast resulted in live birth

My fresh transfer of 2 morulas (so guessing they would have been day 6 blasts) on day 5 was successful. Currently almost 15 weeks with twins. Day 6 embryos can be just as good. Fingers crossed for good news tomorrow x

My day 6 blast resulted in a beautiful little boy who is refusing to go to sleep this evening!

Lots of reasons to be hopeful for day 6 blasts!

Hi! I had 6 day embryo transfer. ( frozen cycle due to pgta) Mine started off ok and slowed down. I lost a few. I still had some developing slowly but they picked the fastest developing ones. I started with 12 embryos but it went down to 5 decent ones. After pgta I had 3. I’m now nearly 12 weeks pregnant. Hope it all works out for you. Wishing you all the best xxx

I had 11 embryos on day 5... only 1 was ready to be frozen all the others went to day 6 and 9 more where frozenon day 6 they were all pgt tested and 7 were normal so definitely keep the faith, for blasts to still be developing at day 6 is great... Xx

We had 7 embryos reach blasto. 2 Day 5 and 5 Day 6. I’m typing this holding my 6mo Day 6 with his Day 5 big brother in the other room. Trust me when I tell you there is no difference in them. Everything crossed for your little bundle xx
