I am supposed to be 8+3 today. We went for a private scan as we still couldn’t quite believe I was pregnant.
As soon as she started scanning I could tell that something was wrong. Apparently the sac and yolk sac have grown but she couldn’t see any foetus.
We’re being referred to the EPU for another scan, hopefully tomorrow.
I’m devastated, as is my partner. We just can’t believe it. I’ve had no worrying things like cramping or bleeding, just normal pregnancy symptoms.

I’m sorry to hear this I’ve had a blighted ovum at 12w it truly devastating my first mmc. I also with my 2nd I had got to 13w but baby was only 9w no hb. I hate scans now have anxiety thinking about it. Sending love and hugs xx
