Hi ladies. So I’ve researched that CoQ10 can help with egg quality, something i struggle with!! So I popped into my chemist this morning to purchase some. However I thought the mgs sounded pretty low that they sold. It was 30mg. So I didn’t buy. Can anyone that has maybe used it to help with egg quality let me know what dose you took or what might be advised!?
Any advice on this would be gratefully appreciated 👍

Ubiquinol from Amazon. Pretty pricey in comparison but hey, if it works! I get my husband to take it too as it’s also supposed to help with sperm quality
Hi Teeny, I took 100mg gel capsules from Holland and Barrett (Fitness Pharma brand) - at the time I took them, they were £9.99 for a pack of 30, but they were in the 3 for 2 sale. Apparently gel capsules are better than the tablets. They are normally recommended for elderly people as they help with healthy cell regeneration, which is obviously why they are also recommended for egg cell development. As EB2001 says they are good to take anyway for general well-being xx
I get the ubiquinol off amazon 200mg for £20 30 tablets so only lasts 15 days but if it helps I’ll do it for a few months I was taking coq10 30mg which was cheap but I think was a too low of a dose.
I can't remember the brand I used but just wanted to say it was a massive help for us.I always got lot of eggs but most were poor quality. Aftet 3 months we got our first ever frosties, one of which is currently laid in my arms!! would highly recommend . Xx
Awh wow. Congratulations on your baby ❤️ Right I’m determined to get my hands on these what ever the cost and fingers crossed they help with my egg quality too xx
My consultant recommended 100mg CoQ10 and 5mg melatonin and I got 23 eggs this time!!! I’ve now got 9 frozen embryos compared to only 8 eggs last time and no frozen embryos, so it must have had am effect! I just bought cheap Q10 from Tesco and melatonin from Amazon good luck!! Xxx
