Chemical pregnancy before IVF? Please help!

Hi ladies,

I am due to start IVF this month and was only waiting for AF

My AF is very regular, and when it was a bit late this month I blamed the nerves of starting IVF

But after 3 days late (even with AF symptoms) I decided to test, just for peace of mind.

It was early morning, and when I looked at it is showed negative. I didn’t wait the 5 minutes recommend to check again because I was expecting it to be negative anyway.

My period started a few hours later and I was even happy about it.

When I found my pregnancy test in my drawer later I picked it to throw it away and I noticed what seems to be a very faint line... can anyone else see it?

Can it be true?

Last month I started on aspirin and went gluten free, can that be related?

Should I mention to my clinic? I don’t want them to cancel my cycle because of this...

I am so confused...

I went gluten free too and got a BFP after failed IVF....

I would take another test asap hun in case it is an evap line? As I know your not suppose to read them after the 5 or 10 minute mark depending on the test. Never took one of those tests before tho maybe some other ladies can shed some light xxx

Maybe you are right... I read hours after. I have full period now, so no point to re-test I think...

Sorry, it looks like an evaporation line. Anything over five minutes can be discounted as a reliable result anyway. Good luck with your ivf 🍀 xx

It’s ok, In fact that relieves me as I was starting to stress about this, and all I need is to concentrate on the IVF right now.

If you are in any doubt re test first thing tomorrow with a clearblue digital test; it will spell it out & no confusing lines. If it’s a negative I’d carry on with your IVF. Good luck xoxo

I am sure it will be negative now as AF is really heavy today , so I think I will spare my self of reading those words 😅

Yes, I find it so cruel sometimes... and it can really mess with a person’s emotions mainly just before Ivf...
