I’m just 13 weeks pregnant and have my 12 week scan (late I no 🙄) tomorrow, but my sickness has came back strong this week and I’m worried this isn’t usual. I had it from about 6 weeks to 10 then it really eased off and I was eating better etc but these last few days have been awful and my tummy hurts from heaving when being sick .... is it normal to have your sickness leave then come back and is all the heaving harming my baby?

That’s what happened to me!! I felt like it has eased and then back hard with the addition of migraines, dizziness and nose bleeds but I had my 12 week scan today and all is well thank God 🙏🏼 My sister didn’t feel better until around 5 months and symptoms do come and go so try not to worry. Unfortunately with google we just latch on to bad news and worry that an increase is bad news but everyone is different. Good luck tomorrow, please let me know how you get on 🙏🏼😘🤞🏼Xxx
The others have answered about the sickness, which very luckily I haven't had, but just wanted to let you know that I'm 12 weeks 3 days and my scan is tomorrow too. So anxious about it and worried about having no symptoms at all, even though my 8 week scan was fine. Also coughing/sneezing/heaving/hiccuping is all fine, your baby is completely protected - the human body is amazing. All the best for your scan xx
Hi Jade, I don't want to put up a main post as someone else has just posted about a 12 week scan with bad news, but my scan was fab and everything fine! So relieved after our 5 year journey. How was yours? x
My sister felt sick all the way through both pregnancies bless her. I’m 5 weeks and felt dizzy and sick yesterday it’s awful I never had sickness with my other 2 pregnancies I hope that was it lol
Good luck for tomorrow and yes it is very normal for the sickness to come and go especially if feeling better you took on a bit more and got tired hopefully it will go for good soon x
