I am 6 days post day 5 embryo transfer. My test day is next Friday and I am very nervous. How likely is it that you get your period before your test day? My cycle is 28 days and is meant to be on Monday.
Just need some reassurance.

Hi, I'm on day 5 post embryo transfer and it's not easy. I have been here before and once got good news and bad news the second time. Every symptom is nerve wrecking. Hang in there. Crossing fingers for both of us xx
Stacia it's so hard. My mind is going into overdrive and I am thinking of the worst possibilities. Just want to go to sleep and wake up next Friday. Good luck! Hope it all goes okay. Xx
hey! I also test next Friday. Just wish I could know now!! As far as I know, your medication is meant to stop your period starting, so you’re unlikely to start your period of Monday. Baby dust for us all!!
My test day is Friday too! This is my fourth transfer, and for both of my previous fresh transfers I bled before my OTD. The only one I didn't bleed on was the FET which resulted in pregnancy. As Rollercoastersmiles said I think the progesterone is meant to prevent your period though, so even if you don't bleed then unfortunately it's impossible to know for sure until you test.
neonpg thank you for the reassurance. Hope it all goes well for you. Literally counting down the days until I can test now. Hoping that the days go quickly.
My test day is also next Friday so good luck with that.
On my failed round my period came 4 days before the test date despite taking cyclogest. My cramps were getting worse from day 9 so I knew something wasn’t right.
I think I'm out. I'm 6dp5dt and today had small amount of pink spotting when wiping, which is a similar pattern to my two transfers that failed. This was my very last go but I'm feeling numb right now. Keeping everything crossed for everyone still in the running 🤞🏻
