Trigger shot !

Hi, I’ve just done trigger shot tonight and I’m confused as it was buserelin. I didn’t think this was a drug to get the eggs released? Has anyone had this as a trigger? What is the difference? Thanks!

I had buserelin for my trigger in my second cycle. It can be used as a trigger - good luck xx

Speak to your clinic, I know mine was a hcg injection, different clinics may use different medication x

I was given buserelin this cycle. It is usually used if you are at risk of OHSS, as giving a high dose of HCG will make this worse.

I used buserelin for my trigger shot in my fresh cycle. I’m now on daily 0.5ml of it for my frozen cycle...so it must be used in different ways xxxxx
