Hi didn't want to read and run but try this link. You will have to scroll down a little but it shows the difference in grading in an image to give you an idea of what is happening cmft.nhs.uk/saint-marys/our... Good luck on your journey xx
Grade 1 and grade 2 are both above average on my Clinic’s scale, with grade 3 still being a possibility but those ones probably wouldn’t be good enough to survive freezing. I have never had any grade ones and I’m pregnant now from my third round. Try not to get too hung up on the grading.
I think your stats look quite normal and good. When you get a large no, like 20 eggs, it's pretty normal that half or more will have been from the stimulation drugs doing their thing, pulling up quantity over quality. The fact that within that you have 4 good quality is really great, and 2 of them are top quality. In the end the gradings are not fool proof, any of your 4 good embryos could end up being the one you need. So it's a really positive place to be, really good luck for the next steps xx
Hi ssjcox. Well done with the egg collection. Some of the ones collected probably weren't mature enough to fertilise - it happens. The others - most will probably continue to grow, so try not to worry too much about them. Hopefully the embryologist will have some good news for you today. Hope all goes well with transfer when it's done, and fingers crossed for a few to freeze. Thinking of you. Diane
