Not a positive egg collection.

Only retrieved 2 eggs this morning so feeling pretty low. Last time had 20 follicles with 8 eggs and only 4 fertilised so can't see it working out great this time. Dreading the phone call from the embryologist tomorrow.

On the plus side at least I wasn't in Christchurch where I was last time for EC considering the massive earthquake overnight here in NZ.

Try to stay positive Hun. Miracles do happen. You never how wonderful these two eggs might perform to your amazement. Keep your chin up and fingers crossed it all works out well with these two eggs. Xxxx

I have my fingers crossed your two eggs are strong little fighters. I have read so many stories like this which have ended with wonderful, happy results. Stay positive and I'm so glad you're safe xxx

Did they do anything different this time round like increase drugs or anything. I'm going for my second go early next year. I had 13 eggs last time and only 4 fertilised so I'm worried too for next time. They said they might tweak the drug doseage a bit higher. but as they say it only takes one egg so fingers crossed for us xx

I was on 300 menopur this time. Last time had 300 gonal f and was worried about changing drugs since last time I got pregnant. I had high progesterone last time which caused delays so that is why they changed it.

Think I had had 250 menopur but had to get an extra days worth at the end. They've said it likely didn't work because of my egg quality due to my age but will try one more time with higher dose of drugs and if it doesn't work this time they said they wouldn't recommend we try again x

Quality not quantity. Good Luck x

I only got 1 egg and it still fertilised and was a really good embryo. Unfortunately didn't lead to pregnancy but I did have a good shot at it xx

Just echoing what the others have said 😊 I know it's a cliche but it really only takes one 🙏🍀 and thank goodness you weren't near the earthquake. Dreadful. They've only just picked themselves up from the last one.

Best of luck to you and let's hope it's a positive phone call x X x

my sister in law only got 3, all fertilised, 2 were good enough to transfer on day 3 and against all the odds, they have a beautiful 5 month old baby boy. It only takes 1. Keeping everything crossed for you. Xxx

They didn't mention it but I did wonder. My clinic kind of don't like to do anything a bit different which is difficult cos its the only one to choose from.

Our clinic decided on the morning I had my eggs collected that ICSI would be best ! They inject the sperm into the egg to ensure a more positive result . best of luck lovely I have my fingers crossed for u x

Hi, hun! I agree with girls. Actually you need just one for the procedure to get success. Though these being only two eggs it doesn't mean they won't do. I'm sure they are the most developed ones which got ready for the EC and will definitely get ready for ET!

Keep my fingers crossed for your rainbow.

Wishing you the best X
