Hi there,

This will be my 9th day of stimulation and I have got about 14 good follicles going on from my scan from yesterday. A bunch around 14mm and one bigger. Scheduled egg collection next Weds. Just getting a few light pains near my ovary and uterus similar to period pains but not the same. Is this something bad? XX

No its not, its normal. You will start to get pain now as you are quiet “full”. Rest as much as you can and have plenty of fluids if it’s gets really bad call your clinic but it shouldn’t do. This pain is because your follicles are growing and your ovaries are feeling the pain xx

No dont worry, but like i said if you get im a lot of pain call your clinic, gp etc. As you said you only have one ovary it’s working very hard, i dont think you will be able to do much the next few days and dont aswell Because you dont want to make your self poorly. Rest as much as you can. Xx

Thank you! I suppose I forget how much the body is all connected as well strange as that sounds! Forget how much one thing can affect another xx

It's normal my partner had bad pain due to havin 32 follicles on one side and 12 on the other don't worry it's normal

It’s normal but be really careful not to overdo things- don’t exercise or do heavy lifting as there’s a tiny risk of ovarian torsion once you get to this stage. Good luck for EC tomorrow x
