Fertility clinics abroad

Hi wonder if anyone could give me any advise. Looking to book at a fertility clinic in probably prague or Czech. It's so confusing they all look good but would be good to go to one on recommendation. Has anyone had successful treatment anywhere?

Not sure if this will help but stumbled across this website, Routes to Parenthood, and it seems to cover most options. There is an exhibition in Glasgow Grand Central on 4th Sept and it's only £6 per person so if it's not any good then not wasted a lot of money. From what I understand there will be clinics for private uk and abroad and also information in adoption and fostering. Here is the link in case you want to have a look.

I have been to the routes to parenthood when it was in Manchester, We found it useful as we got to speak to all our local clinics NHS and private to get advice and like a mini consultation. We also spoke to two clinics from abroad which is helpful.

They have guest speakers about various topics so worth listening to them if any are useful to you (you get a list when you go in) You also get loads of freebies aswell xxx

Hi what is the name of your clinic? I've heard Cyprus has 80 percent success rate. I've looked at a few clinics in Manchester but they only have 40 percent success rate and more expensive x

Hi Katya38,

I did my IVF at Istanbul, Turkey... it's 3X cheaper there than in UK. I'm 42 and doesn't have much hormones to conceive a child but because of their expertise and quality of service I'm now 5 week pregnant. There was only one follicle that was for sure responding with my medications but the doctor still tried to collect the smaller one and observed it for 3 days in the laboratory. On the day of the egg implant, the smaller follicle turned out to be of high quality. I'm now waiting for the second hcg blood test result to check if there's a possibility for twins. The 1St hcg blood was too high (that was 12th day after of egg implant) which meant that there's a possibility for twins. I'll have my ultrasound on my 13th week.

Hi Mcfaith,

That's great news congratulation. Can I ask what's the name of the clinic you have used in turkey. As I'm also looking at treatment abroad now.

a friend of mine had two negative cycles of donor egg ivf in Prague clinic. I don’t remember the name of the clinic

Now we're both having our tx in Kiev, Ukraine. my dh and I are awaiting twins to come in February via de surrogacy. my friend is trying her second cycle of de ivf. The first was bfn, unfortunately. In any case, her contact covers 5 attempts so there’s a great chance it’ll work. I have my fingers crossed for her

Good luck to as well

Hi, Katya, probably you have found the clinic? I just wanted to say that I found my clinic in Ukraine in Kiev. And I was totally satisfied with all the reqiured conditions that they have. The prices, the treatment, attitude,. As I didn't know anything about Ukraine at that time I was surprised in a good way,,

Wish you good luck in your journey XXX
