Fertility counsellor

Good morning lovelies, does anyone have any recommendations for a fertility counsellor? The first 6 days we’re great in my bubble but then I got the full blown period symptoms for the last two days. I’ve tested today (otd is Monday) as I can feel my period coming (and my moods changed drastically which is my usual symptom) and it’s as I thought, negative. I don’t need to hear there’s still hope, it’s early still etc- trust me. What I’m looking for is recommendations for someone who can help with the next step, getting over ivf, understanding that this wasn’t meant to be and moving onto adoption. We’ve done 2 rounds, I know that’s not many, but for me i think it is, I could have a third one in me but I would be begrudging doing it for the sake of it. I don’t want to spend another 2 years in the TTC world while I want to be a mom. I’ve always felt like adoption would be my journey anyway but I’m sure most have heard it before “we’ll try ivf won’t we” . We were late to the game, i never wanted kids, it was only the last 3 years when I realised I could be a bloody good mom and give a child an amazing loving life and home. Anyway any guidance would be appreciated - thank you 💖🥰💜

Thanks Kate, the last counsellor we used was from that website and we really didn’t rate her and the same with my friends, that’s why I’d like to try and get a few recommendations that people have used 💖

Oh that's a shame Judith. We always suggest contacting a few first to find someone you feel would be right for you, but if people are able to PM particular suggestions, that's great. I really hope you find someone who can help. Take care x

Hey, doesn’t your clinic provide counselling? I was under the impression that all clinics offered it. Adoption is an amazing way to become a mum, wishing you all the best on your journey 💖
