Hi all

Have been told my amh is 28.7 which means high ovarian response likely PCO, could this be a reason why I can’t conceive naturally? What does this mean for ivf.. x

It means you have a good ovarian reserve, and not the reason why you can't conceive naturally as you have plenty of eggs. It probably means you'll respond well to IVF, obviously depending how many follicles you have in your ovaries too. Oh and mine is 32 and I don't have pcos xxxx

To give my body a break as my oestrogen levels were high, I didn't get OHSS though

Hiya my amh was 40.8 - I have been told by one doctor I have pcos and another that I don’t, they counted 15 follicles in each ovary. I’ve conceived naturally once before - I’ve no idea what the cut off for pcos is as far as amh or follicle count is concerned xx

Ah ok I’ve read a score over 48 pmol/L is considered elevated. So I wouldn’t say u had pcos xx

Thanks Hun it’s just some months I’ll get terrible acne on my neck and other things so I think I have a hormonal imbalance somewhere x

Yea I get spots there too and along my jawline. It’s cleared up lately plus i get hair on my top lip - I wax my it though. It may be that I’m dark haired and it’s just more obvious. I def have hormonal imbalance as have endo so that’s where mine stems from as for pcos - I don’t think so, I’m confused as to why one doctor thought that xx
