Hi everyone this is my 3rd day in hospital with severe over stimulation and I just want to stress that if you are worried about anything during your cycle to get checked out!!
I phoned the hosp everyday for 3 days to tell them i was really swollen, in pain and worried & just kept getting told it was constipation despite them being aware I was at high risk of over stimulation.
Follow your gut people as this could have ended really badly as i have fluid round my organs, my blood is like syrup, and my heart rate is 105, and im severely dehydrated.
I was meant to be having my transfer today but it is freeze all now until im better.
The hospital have been great but I suppose I just want to get it accross that there is only so much that they can tell you over the phone....get checked out if your worried and listen to your body!

Oh bless you, I was facing the same but I think I have avoided hospital. Luckily I had my two final scans as I was getting really bad. They took me off menopur but I am still really high and now having cabergoline to bring me down.
But you are right, I was told I would feel tender and swollen which I did. It was only when I couldn’t pee or sit down with out pain that I started to worry.
Hope you’re feeling better soon. So true about following your own gut xx
Stay strong LouBoo, you'll start getting better soon! Slightly concerning that the hospital never picked up on all the warning signs when you called them. At least they're reacting now which is essential to your recovery. x
The hosp have called and 3 eggs have made it to blastocyst and are suitable for freezing, i have 3 that they are keeping an eye on until tomorrow but the rest havent made it. I was hoping for more and i am feeling sorry for myself after being so unwell but to be honest i dont have a clue what number i should be aiming for...any advice welcome? Xxx
No don't be at all! If I had my time would have done freeze all.
I wasn't feeling great atound transfer maybe a build up of the drugs and had severe stomach cramps - maybe just wind - but so sore that the transfer was uncomfortable.
Feel so good now and started ovulating again.
Would prefer to have had it when I felt like this.
Ahh thanks yes deffo for the best in this situation but I just thought the success rates were better with fresh transfer but i know a few ppl have said thats not the case. Give me time to get better ay xxx
