UPDATE ON EMBRYOS TO BE FROZEN ON DAY 5

Not been on here to update anyone for nearly 2 weeks. I had 2 embryos out of the 5 that made it to be frozen. I was told they are grade 4bb. My worry now is once my lining is investigated & ok clear, what if frozen embryos don’t thaw properly.

4bb is a really good grade. One of my bfps was a 4bb. Try not to worry too much, although it happens, thaw success is relatively high xx

No but I’ve been diagnosed with lupus anticoagulant and need blood thinners during the tww and into pregnancy. We didn’t know that at the time 😥 It was a single yes xx

Yes. I’m currently 6+5 and on blood thinners this pregnancy. I wasn’t with my others and we lost them. Hence the testing and subsequent diagnosis.. Hopefully things will be different this time now that I’m on treatment 🤞🏻 xx

I had 4ab and 4bc embryos. We transferred one of each at the same time. Both survived thawing just fine and continued to divide and one of them stuck. Rates for thawing are very, very good these days so try not to worry.

Best of luck with getting the lining sorted xxx

As others have said unless it's very poor quality to begin with (in which case they don't freeze anyway) it's very uncommon for them to not thaw properly

Good luck with your frozen transfer x

Absolutely I understand

Do make sure you do your own research on different protocols and interventions and medications etc they give you so you go in prepared.

There's plenty of info on this forum if you want to go through the search function for anything specific

I'll be writing a post soon on some things I think are important for a fertility checklist through my reseaech
