Hi everyone,

So, I thought I was being let off the hook! Apparently not! Feeling quite weird and my head feels full?! Only way I can describe it! Getting slight pain near ovaries and very emotional! Sound familiar to anyone else? X

I had awful headaches during down reg and was always tired! Your emotions are definitely going to be all over the places, all sounds very normal to me x

I’m on suprecur too! I have to take it in the evening between 6 and 8. I usually feel the effects straight after but I’ve been feeling more tired overall. Getting slight period pains too! I suppose our bodies are a bit confused! Xx

I take mine around 7pm each night , tiredness to main symptom. I’ll start on progynova the end of the month and aspirin too. Im just having transfer in aug so no stimulation of my ovaries!! Im glad of to be honest because when I took menopur and cetrocide on my last ivf I suffered lots of side effect like hot sweats and not sleeping well etc so I’m all good at the minute x

I felt like I had a hangover...without the enjoyment of drinking! My head just got worse & eventually full blown headache! Hang on in there, I found it better once I started the stimulation drugs!xx

When I had my first shot I thought, oh I won’t get any side effects as don’t usually with medication. How wrong I was!!! I am ill with it. Sore head through the full thing, bleeding a lot, sweating and crying all the time. Not good x

Did u get injections?? I just got a single Primolut pill.... wonder if that is enough now??

Yup. Down regulation side effects were the worst part of the process for me. I had every side effect going!

Hi Kirsty, down regulation was always the worst bit of a cycle for me by far. Headaches, tiredness, nausea, mood swings... yuck! Thankfully the symptoms lifted when I started the stimulation injections. Hang in there pet xx

I had the most horrendous headaches when doing down reg for a fet. I never want to take buserelin ever again. I ended up being sent to the hospital by my gp because the headache affected my vision. Luckily not long after it settled down but I’d been in pain for days. I hope your side effects don’t progress any further and that the ones you have are manageable xx
