Had tubes flushed and pelvic scan today and they said a polyp was making it difficult to get the catheta where it needed to go, this was painful for me but they managed to flush my tubes.

I have just come off pill and wanted to try this month. I have heard that polyps can be the cause of infertility so it might be pointless trying this month until we have results back in more detail. I have also read that polyps can cause re-occurring miscarriage. Any experiences to share????

Advise please 💕

Hi Hopeful82. Oh dear, that’s a nuisance for you. You may need to have it removed as they can prevent a developing embryo from implanting. If it is at the entrance of the tube, then it could block the sperm en route to an egg. A setback for you, but something that can be sorted. Good luck with any decision making. Diane
