Brown bleeding when wipe with twins 8 weeks tomorrow anyone else?

Brown light bleeding twins almost 8 weeks started two days ago when wipe only the ultrasound looks great hearts good they said when I went in the first day panicking anyone else have this and all ok? I hear it’s common with twins and I am taking clexane. It’s not sch I have no blood in ultrasound. Possibly cervical and nothing to worry about?

Hi Leslie73. Oh dear! Yes, it could just be down to a bit of discharge. Do you think it could be some debris from using pessaries - if you are using them. Some of that can collect and start to leak out. I would look at your scan picture and know that all looks good. Thinking of you. Diane

Thank you I actually just use shots I did have an ultrasound last week but the bleeding brown started 6 days later? Anyhow I am on clexane/lovenox and it might be making any bleed more so but haven’t been told to stop it

Yes could be due to the Clexane. If it continues you may be advised to reduce the injections. Hope it soon settles. Diane

I’ve had brown spotting from time to time and tend to put it down to irritation from the pessaries. x

Yes I do the shots unfortunately but had an internal ultrasound last week that may have cause brown blood a week later?

Brown spotting is very common in early pregnancy I honestly wouldn’t worry unless it turns red with cramps. I had bright red bleeding due to a sch and was on clexane but they took me off as my bleeding was super heavy. Maybe just let your clinic know x

First of all congratulations on your news! I had the same at 6 weeks, went to the toilet to find a load of brown discharge in my knickers, my heart dropped but a few days after I had my first scan and everything was perfect 😊 she couldn’t find where any of the old blood was coming from but I certainly know it’s hard not to worry, I just try and think my body is adjusting to everything xxx

They always say that brown blood is old blood. And that although it isn’t normal to bleed in pregnancy it is very common. I hope it all settles down soon. Congratulations on the twins! xx

I am having this too - I am 6 weeks today.

Glad you have had a good scan to confirm all is ok. Everyone in the messages seems to agree that is normal.....

Hey Leslie. Dont be panic it's a normal thing and mostly happened in pregnancy when you are expecting twins. My aunt was also having these kind of symptoms in her pregnancy. And atlast she delivered healthy babies. So just don't worry and follow your diet. Everything will be fine and you will also deliver healty babies. God bless you.

You will know urself if u dnt feel right.. are your preg signs still their.

Unfortunately for me brown spotting didnt have the happy ending.. so i tell people if ur worried then call.. cuz all ny family friends and forums kept telling me a little bit of spotting is fine and i had been scanned whilst it was happening and all was fine but unfortunately by 11weeks my journey had ended.

So please dont worry becauee 99.9% its normal but if something dnt lay right then get sceen
